Montrose Morris of the Brownstoner blog has provided a detailed history of 951 Prospect Place (also known as 172 Brooklyn Avenue) including the repairs we worked on after Hurricane Sandy in 2012. This was an effectively abandoned buildings that lost part of its facade in the storm. We worked on stabilization and repair of the facade; the building was returned to its original use as a small apartment hose shortly afterward.
