That’s the inspiring view from the Stapleton Station on the Staten Island Railway. If you click on it to expand it, you can see a large container ship just left of skate park building. The Verrazzano Narrows Bridge marks the entry to the upper bay – the harbor proper – and the ship had entered from the Narrows just a little earlier.
My train came a few minutes later, I took it up to St. George to catch the ferry back to Manhattan, and I looked out the window in the ferry terminal…
…and saw I’d been followed.
