And I don’t mean gossip.
We’ve had a large number of projects in the last few years where we review the effect of construction on neighboring buildings. Most of the time we work for the people next door to the construction site; on a few occasions we’ve worked for the owner of the construction site. In either case the goal is the same: to minimize damage to the existing building from the effects of construction.
It turns out that this is a popular topic. I’ve been asked by the Society for Clinton Hill to talk about some of the technical issues involved and give advice to building owners, particularly people who own brownstones. I won’t be discussing our projects, but I will be reviewing what we’ve learned from working on those projects.
The official announcement will be here: The Society for Clinton Hill, but I think the cat is out of the bag.
