I mentioned that some B Corps have a social goal as their reason to exist and another good example is Hirepurpose. For much of the past fifteen years, the unemployment rate for veterans was much higher than for the general rate. Their work to address this situation benefits everyone, and is worth mentioning in the context of the Best for NYC Challenge.
